Car Insurance Volvo (Car Insurance). saturn sl2 p0410 code?saturn sl2 p0410 code? i about had it with this car, i got it and the air pump didnt work so i fixed that so now it goes on like it should for like 65 seconds or so. then the light was still on after i reset it, so then i looked further into in and found that the pipe to the manifold was filled with carbon so i cleaned that and the pipe. still reset the car and the liht goes right back on. so then i took the whole egr apart and cleaned the thing inside and out and when i went to to put it on i checked the vacuum and it blows air right through it and when the pump shuts off it stops blowing air just like it should. so all the lnes are good no leaks. the only thing i can thing of is that egr vacuum solenoid but it seems to be working fine. and suggestions. i even cleaned the o2 sensor. im just running out of ideas Possible SolutionsNote: There is a technical service bulletin (TSB) regarding this code for a number of GM models. Volvo . How to Wire a Bilge Pump SwitchOnce you have your bilge pump mounted, you must properly connect the switch so that it will turn on in a timely fashion. This is very different from installing a simple light switch in your garage, as you have to consider the basic fact that you'll have a lot of moisture around. Many bilge pumps have a float switch that engages the pump once the water level reaches a certain height, making a three-way switch necessary. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Fuse Inline fuse holder 3-way switch 8-gauge insulated copper wire Nylon cable ties Butt connectors Heat shrink tubing Heat gun 3/8-inch crimp-on ring terminals Wiring pliers Step by Step : 1 Disconnect the negative battery cable and mount the pump and the float switch in the bilge. Connect the tubing from the pump to the discharge fitting. 2 Slide a section of heat shrink tubing over the end of the wire that will later be connected to the negative pump terminal. Crimp a butt connector onto the end of this wire, first making sure it is the right size to match the negative post of the bilge pump. Connect the butt connector to the negative pump post, then shift the heat shrink over the connection. 3 Shrink the heat shrink tubing using a heat gun. This seal should be watertight. 4 Connect two wires to the positive terminal of the bilge pump using the same method you used to connect and seal the negative terminal, sliding a single heat shrink tube over both wires. Run one wire to the float switch, connecting it to the "auto" post. 5 Connect the second wire from positive terminal of the pump to the three-way switch. Connect it to the "on" post of the switch. 6 Connect a wire to the "power" post of the switch, then connect a fuse holder to this wire near the end towards the battery. Make sure it is located as close to the battery terminal as possible, but give yourself enough wire to make the connections. 7 Crimp 3/8-inch ring connectors to the wire leading from the fuse holder and to the wire leading from the pump's negative terminal. Slide the connector from the fuse holder over the battery's positive terminal, and slide the connector from the pump's negative terminal over the battery's negative terminal. 8 Wrap the wires with nylon cable ties and support them so that they do not droop into the bilge. You should use one cable tie every 18 inches. Be careful not to impede any mechanical movement of the engine or float switch. Reconnect the negative battery terminal. Although the transmission cannot be rebuilt while still attached to the engine, removing the Turbo 350 is a fairly straightforward job. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Jack Jack stands Large drip pan Socket wrench Wrench Pliers Step by Step : 1 Jack up the vehicle and support it with jack stands to increase the working height under the vehicle. 2 Place a large drip pan underneath the transmission's oil pan, then loosen the bolts at the back of the oil pan with a socket wrench and allow the fluid to drain. 3 Remove the plate at the bottom of the front of the transmission to access the torque converter's drain plug. Remove the plate's bolts with a socket wrench and pull the plate away from the transmission. 4 Place a large drip pan underneath the torque converter, then remove the torque converter's drain plug and allow the fluid to drain. 5 Remove the flywheel-to-converter nuts with a wrench. Crank the engine, as necessary, to gain access to each nut. 6 Remove the fasteners that secure the driveshaft to the differential with a wrench and pull the driveshaft out of the transmission. 7 Remove the starter motor's retaining bolts with a socket wrench and position the starter away from the transmission. 8 Disconnect the speedometer cable from the transmission by turning the cable's integral nut in a counterclockwise direction with a wrench until the cable detaches from the transmission. 9 Pull the clip that secures the kick-down rod to the side of the transmission with pliers and pull the linkage off of the transmission. Step by Step : 10 Pull the vacuum hose off of the vacuum unit located at the back of the transmission. Step by Step : 11 Remove the bolt that secures the transmission's oil dipstick tube to the side of the engine with a socket wrench and pull the tube out of the transmission. Step by Step : 12 Lift the transmission with a jack to remove the weight of the transmission from its cross member. Step by Step : 13 Remove the cross member-to-frame securing nuts with a wrench. Step by Step : 14 Disconnect the two fluid cooler lines from the side of the transmission by turning each line's integral nut in a counterclockwise direction with a wrench until the lines detaches from the transmission. Step by Step : 15 Remove the transmission-to-engine bolts with a wrench. Step by Step : 16 Move the transmission away from the engine with the jack, and remove the transmission from under the vehicle.
